Day 1: 

1st June 2026 OR 15th June 2026- Birding and Photography at Kinabalu Park:

Morning meet at airport or hotel and proceed to Kinabalu Park. Journey will take approximately 2 hours 45 minutes upon arrival at Kinabalu Park, we proceed to bird. The target birds are the Whitehead’s Trogon and Broadbill. Do take note, there is no hide to bird at Kinabalu Park, all biding activities are on the road or the trials. The Trogons and Broadbill are sighted within kilometer 1 to 2.5 area. While walking along this area, one can encounter the Yellow-breasted Warbler, Bornean Whistler, Bornean Green Magpie, Bornean Treepie, Collared fantail, Chestnut-hooded Laughing Thrush, Gary Headed (Sunda) Laughing Thrush and Temminck Babbler . 

Lunch break at 13:00 hours as the birding activities slows down at this time. 

Resume birding at 14:00 hours and continue to walk on the same road to find the Trogons and Broadbill.

By 17:00 hours check in to the hotel and ready for dinner, Stay near Kota Kinabalu national park.

Day 2:

2nd June 2026 OR 16th June 2026- Birding and Photography at Kinabalu Park 

Birding again at Kota Kinabalu National Park, target birds are the Whitehead’s Trogon and Broadbill. Do take note, there is no hide to bird at Kinabalu Park, all biding activities are on the road or the trials. The Trogons and Broadbill are sighted within kilometer 1 to 2.5 area. Day 3:

3rd June 2026 OR 17th June 2026- Birding and Photography at Kinabalu Park

Another early birding at Kinabalu Park and search for more endemics like Mountain Wren Babbler, Bornean Forktail, Mt Black-eye. Penan Bulbul and to repeat some birds that we missed photographing. Lunch break at 13:00 hours and resumed birding at 14:00 hours until 17:00 hours, Stay near Kota Kinabalu national park.

Day 4-

4th June 2026 OR 18th June 2026- Borneo Peacock pheasant Photography session-

At 04:00 hours proceed to the hide which will take 3-4 hours’ drive. And we will meet hide owner at his waiting designation point which he always advise people to take some breakfast before going to his hide. 

Birding full day at his hide until 16:00 hours and take the return drive to Tambunan and overnight

Day 5:

5th June 2026 OR 19th June 2026 Full day hide photography for Blue banded pitta. Stay at Telupid

DAY 6:

6th June 2026 OR 20th June 2026 More Borneo Endemic species hide Birding & Photography-

After breakfast by 0600 hours , take a drive to the hide approximately 40-45 minutes. 

Full day birding at the hide and will return to Tambunan for the night.

BULWER'S PHEASANT, DAYAK BLUE FLYCATCHER, BORNEAN BANDED PITTA, WHITE CROWNED SHAMA , BORNEAN BLACK CAPPED BABBLER , GRAY HOODED BABBLER, CHESTNUT HOODED LAUGHINGTRUSH. PENAN BULBUL.BORNEAN TREEPIE, Roul Roul, Temminks Babbler etc

Day 7:

7th June 2026 OR 21st June 2026-Birding and photography at Gunung Alab- 

Early departure to G. Alab for more birding and especially to seek the Crimson and Red-breated Partridge.

RED BREASTED PARTRIDGE , CRIMSON HEADED PARTRIDGE, MOUNTAIN  BLACK EYE BARE HEADED LAUGHINGTRUSH, BORNEAN LEAFBIRD , BORNEAN WHISTLER, Indigo Flycatcher(rufous vented), little pied flycatcher etc

Stays inside hide till 3pm, then drive to Sepilok Sandakan

DAY 8:

8th June 2026 OR 22nd June 2026- Birding & photography at RDC(RAINFOREST DISCOVERY CENTRE)

BRISTLEHEAD, BLACK CROWNED PITTA, BLACK MAGPIE, CHARLOTTE'S BULBUL, 

NIGHT WALK IF NO RAIN

TARSIER, SLOW LORIS, FLYING SQUIRREL

O/Night Sepilok

DAY 9:

9th June 2026 OR 23rd June 2026 Sepilok to Sukau Kinabatangan

Early morning final hours of Birding and photography then drive to Sukau Kinabatangan 

Afternoon cruise for Hornbills, kingfishers, storms stork, elephants

Overnight at KINABATANGAN

DAY 10-11:

10th-11th June OR 24th-25th June 2026- KINABATANGAN 

MORNING CRUISE, AFTERNOON CRUISE  for Proboscis monkeys, Silver leaf monkeys, Red leaf monkeys, Orangutang, Bornean Ground cuckoo, Black and Red broadbills

Overnight at KINABATANGAN

Day 12:

12th June OR 26th June 2026- Morning proceed to Sandakan(SDK) airport

Cost: 

USD 3000 per person in twin sharing basis

USD 3500 per person in Single stay basis
